Speedie Recovery of South Florida, Inc.
We are looking for a dependable, alert, and motivated Camera Car Driver to help locate vehicles in Port Charlotte and surrounding areas.
This position involves driving a company camera vehicle equipped with license plate recognition technology, scanning plates, and promptly reporting vehicle locations to our recovery team. You must stay focused, work independently, and consistently produce results.
Responsibilities
- Drive assigned routes and scan license plates using company equipment.
- Follow up on assigned addresses and search areas.
- Immediately report vehicle matches with accurate locations and relevant details.
- Coordinate with recovery agents and respond promptly to office communications.
- Keep accurate activity records and follow company procedures.
- Maintain the company vehicle and equipment in clean, working condition.
- Operate safely and professionally at all times.
What We’re Looking For
- A valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Strong attention to detail and good judgment.
- Comfort using smartphones, GPS, and computer equipment.
- Ability to remain alert during extended periods of driving.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to follow direction.
- Familiarity with Port Charlotte and surrounding areas is a plus.
- Previous LPR, repossession, delivery, or professional driving experience is a plus.
Performance matters. We need someone who actively searches, follows assigned routes, communicates quickly, and takes responsibility for their work.
Compensation: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
